fluroscopy (Barium Enema)

OT (operating theater) today !!

haha...guess what I had done for the first time OT???
The answer is '' having my lunch'' ...
hahaha...


first of all , I enter the fitting room to change into OT clothes , the we enter the OT . Unfortunately , the case was cancelled ald. Then , we having ours lunch at pantry ....then , we were waiting for the next case.
While waiting for next case , we play the blood pressure device . I and Chai Hwa enter OT and observe what the doctors done .... Unfortunately, the case was cancelled again , the doctor said dont need to take X-ray. =.=!!!!!!

same as used to always take x-ray for the knee , spine , supraspinatus outlet , mechant's view, shoulder,scapula , ankle , foot , hand , and forearm.

Today, one of the patient is my lecturer during 1st year who taught me anaotmy last time, he got backache , come to take AP and lateral lumbosacral .

Today got jamuan for Hari Raya , hehehe... eat free ....

today pusat darah negara come to KTSN , so i and yeek went to donate blood.
We saw one malay's blood spill out to the floor after donate the blood, i think maybe just the wound haven't clot yet , not very serious.

1st Radiotherapy Posting ( at Loh Guan Lye Specialist Centre)
learn a lot about Radiotherapy.. how to do CT simulation and Treatment..
learn the new terms , such as OBI , CBCT , Type S mask , index lock .....
using the high tech machine ...IGRT
the ppl over there very kind to me and we having lunch together everyday...




1st Diagnostic Imaging Posting ( PPUKM)

1st day -- chest X ray whole day ... many PTB case

2nd day -- went to others room , many of knee case

3rd day -- many of ankle case , patient puke toward me , fortunately didnt out from her mouth . .. another case, foreigner (Kenya) came to department , he don't understand ours language , ask his son explain to him .. but the patient don't cooperate , and quarrel with his son , dont wan to lie down...
al last , i only know the patient got some mentally problem and back pain if lie down.. so we done all the projection in erect position...

4th day --today fluoroscopy ( barium enema) and mobile x-ray to ward , mostly done AP chest X-ray , but today is my first time to x-ray neonate, really very small only about 20cm in length and skin still red in colour , crying and always moving and we need a nurse who wear the lead gown to whole his hand and x-ray him.

5th day -- seizure patient today... her leg,hand, and head always involuntary movement , very difficult to take x ray , finally we use the cloth to tied her, so that won't move that much.
